I used to live with a blind guy and he forbade cabinet doors to be left open, or for kitchen chairs to not be all the way under the table. So I kinda got used to it.

I never leave them open, those pesky spices and canned goods are always trying to go AWOL...no one leaves the house without permission.

not in my house but at work there are plenty who leave them open. I remind people when I see them do it. They are dangerous and could cause serious damage.
Drives me nuts when I see that.
