There were two men, Demetrius and Lysander, who were in love, not-in-love with the same women, Hero and Hermia. Oberon commanded Puck to squeeze an herb juice into the eyes of one man, so that when he awoke next and found himself with the "right" girl, he would fall in love with her. However, Puck found the "wrong" guy, and the "wrong" guy...uuuuffff!

Oberon quarreled with Titania, because Titania brought a lovely little boy back from India, whose mother had died in childbirth. Oberon, jealous, demanded that Titania give the boy to him to be one of his "henchmen." Titania refused. Oberon managed that Titania sleep, then put herbal juice in her eyes that she should love the next thing she sees.

He arranges that the next thing she sees is one of the laborers, transformed with the head of an ***.
