You should sit down & have a heart to heart talk. Tell him what you feel. Perhaps you're just being too sensitive and you're expecting too much in return because somehow you've done too much for him also.
If not, I think he's abusing your being "too much into him".
Girl, Dont be available to him all the time. Be mysterious. Make him miss you so he'll long for you and not take you for granted.
Guys aren't usually thrilled when girlfriends tend to be pushy and clinging on them all the time so play the "hard to get" game.
Best of Luck, dear!

Hmm, that's wierd, cuz usually they woo you more & do that stuff while dating & it may tapper down after marriage, 7 year itches & so on! :/
Yes, I would be hurt if I were you because it doesn't cost that much to pick up a thoughtful loving gift once & a while. My husband used to pick me out beautiful black hills gold jewelry & stuffed animals & stuff when we were dating & especially engaged. One with a diamond & one with two pearls all by himself. After we got married kinda tappered off after a few years but he's trying more now cuz I asked him how come he didn't do that stuff anymore either. Not that I want jewelry anymore cuz I had told him to stop when I was past that stage. But flowers & cards & little thoughtful things always welcomed to make one feel special! Your guy should be sensitive & care about your feelings & still making you feel special even if he feels like you are further on in your relationship where he doesn't have to woo you like before. Hope things get better & thank you for caring for the little one. Even if you feel slighted by Daddy, the little guy has nothing to do with how Daddy treats you. love & hugs to you all & hope you all have a happy & safe Valentine's Day & year & on! {hug!}

Most likely he did that with his last GF because she pestered him all the time to do so. Most likely he didn't like doing it then, and has decided to not to start doing that now, or he will always have to do it.
Also, he likely did that with his last GF, and she never showed any signs of appreciating it, and it felt like it was for nothing. And, she likely never reciprocated it for him. My ex was bad about that. She always wanted to be romanced. But, when I did so, it was never good enough, or what she wanted. And, in the 5 years I was married, she never did anything romantic for me either. So, in the end, I gave up. It was either spend money for nothing and hear someone complain, or save my money, and still hear someone complain.
You just get tired of it.

You should definitely talk to him about it. It's probably very hard to leave someone after being with them for 5 years but talk to him and let him know how you feel. Some men are just like that, that's the way they are, although they are "trainable" ;)

Maybe he figures since you didn't need it in the beginning that you don't need it now. I'm not saying that he is right by any means Talk to him. Tell him you need something every once in a while to show that you are special. You deserve it.

Trainable? ngor...............Stop! If it's not in him......it's not in him. gabby's rite, you should have a ring by now. A relationship is 50/50 he should cook and help you clean. most of all YOU should always feel loved and appreciated. Your feelings are Very Justified. Sorry, hope things work out for you : )

Sit him down ... talk to him about your feeling ...
If he cares and loves you, he'll be willing to make some efforts to make you feel appreciated and happy. Sometime, men just don't have a clue what we want in a relationship, especially if you don't say anything. So, don't be afraid to say what you feel and take it from there ...
Good luck hun!!!
