Absolutely not, hun. Everyone gets their period at a different time, everyones' body matures at a different pace. Don't worry about anything. Girls generally get their period between the ages of 8 and 17. If you haven't gotten your period by the time you are 16 1/2 or so, see a doctor. But you really have nothing to worry about now. It'll come when it comes. Be glad you don't have to deal with it yet..!

Unlkess you are anorexia or an extreme athlete do not worry about it, it is a pain anyhow. We are all different and an early period is not always a good thing. Take advantage of it. You will get it. If you are either of the two, you will need to do something about it though. So, just talk with your doctor the next trip and explain your concern. It should open up a discussion. Good luck.

Nope! I'm guessing you're a little on the thin side. It used to be normal for girls not to get their periods until the late teens, but they seem to be starting sooner and sooner. Some attribute it to better nutrition, some to hormones in our food, and some believe that increased fat content in the female body (we are getting fatter as a country) sparks the hormonal changes that lead to puberty. Starting your period a little later is actually a good thing, you have a little less risk for ovarian cancer than your friends. yay!

No, there is nothing wrong with you. Some girls start their period at the age 11 or younger and some don't start until 15 or older. Give it time, you will get it. Once you do, you will wish you hadn't.

It's ok sweetie. Everyone starts at different times in life. If you were 18, I would see your concern. You should not be concerned at this point. Smile.
