It just started doing this recently. I even tried to use jet dry rinse stuff, but that didnt work either. I've been using the same detergent too, and it never did this in the past. Im afraid to drink out of my glasses now. The white film especially show up on insulated coffee mugs.

try a product called Glisten. about $3.

it is in the same aisle as the dish soap.

comes in a box the size of Lipton Soup.

cleans the washer jets, the inside of the washer and will work on your dishes too.

run an EMPTY load to clean the washer. a FULL load to get the gunk off the glasses.

turn on your kitchen faucet and let the water get as HOT as possible. then run the washer.

i do this twice a year.

It's hard water. Put a cup of vinegar in the dishwasher with the all the dishes, still use soap. It will all come off. It works like a charm! Get them all out and dry them with a towel this time...It will make a load of difference. If it's been on there for a long time, you want to soak the dishes in a sink full of dishes and vinegar. You said it hasn't been going on long, so the dishwasher should work...Good Luck! =0)

I have found that putting plain vinegar into the rinse aid cup works wonderful and my glasses are clear again. It is much cheaper then a rinse aid and is better for you. Plus using it also cleans out the dishwasher. All in all its a win win. I also would recommend making sure you clean out the filter. I have forgotten to do that and then my dishes start coming out with a film on them. Be prudent about how much citrus you put in your dishwasher tub. You can have a problem with citrus and stainless. Good Luck.

Look in your grocery store on the same aisle where you buy your cascade and jet dry and there is a dishwasher cleanser that cleans your dishwasher and I believe it is also made by Jet and is called jet cleaner.. Try this and hope it solves your problem!

Mine did the same thing. It looked bad but was safe to drink from. I changed my didshwasher soap and they cleared up. Try another brand of soap and see if this will help your situation..
Hope this helps..

it's probably just calcium. try running some CLR through your machine. might be your water, it's gross, but harmless.
