Clay Aiken should have won that year, then he would be my favorite and the best. But if you are talking strictly winners, I would have to say that the best would have to be the first...Kelly Clarkston hands down...she is the most talented, has great personality, the hottest, and sexiest. And let me add that for those people that would say that Carrie Underwood is better than Kelly Clarkston...that is like saying that Jessica Simpson and is better than Christina Aguillera and that's just absurd. Go Clay and Kelly.

I like most of the winners, but I especially like Taylor and Reuben who were the most unlikely winners of the group. Broke the norm - not pretty men - just talented, both of them in their own genres. I really appreciate those unique qualities that set them apart.

No doubt in my mind it is Carrie Underwood she is comparable to Mariah Carey in her voice range and has some great songs
