You are correct but some major superstars such as Hulk Hogan, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels and Triple H haven't used their real names.

I dont think that you can say a wreslter is usually more successful when they use their real names, as there are just as many who havent used their real names and been very successful.

I have to agree with you some on that because their real names are not a part of their scripts. That is something that is personal with all the wrestlers. Some of the wrestlers use their real name to build up their character

If I were a wrestler, I would not want to use my real name. 1. I hate my name, 2. I do not want people to try and look me up to see where I live.

Thats true, but some of the wrestlers who don't use their real names are also successful like The Undertaker, Edge, Hulk Hogan,HHH, Big Show, Kane.... etc.....

that is a point, but you will be finding that less and less in the future. I read that Vince wants new people to start using script names because that way he will own the name and doesn't have to worry about the talent taking the name to another promotion.

That is very true. I also agree with shawn98 except in one aspect. Shawn Micheals real name is Michael Shawn Hickenbottom so in a way he is using his real name.
