No I don't, I don't trust the police or the justice system to get it right first time, look how many innocent people would be dead now if convictions for the birmingham bombers and the guildford four and any number of others who were found 'guilty' of capital crimes had carried the death penalty

And that is before you even start on the question of the women who have been released recently in relation to mysterious cot deaths.

Thats not to say that people who do commit evil crimes shouldn't be put away for a very very long time.

European Laws PROHIBIT any type of Capital Puinishment for ANY crime.. So no matter how we look at it.. Our governments involvement with European Human Rights laws make it quite impossible for this to ever be a realistic option..

So i think that some good, just and true individual should be in the courtroom ready with a kukri up their sleeve.. when the defendant/s are found guilty, old good and true jumps over the gallery to the dock and plunges the blade of their weapon into the vile pigs heart.. Such a selfless act of real justice will make that person a hero in many ways.. not detracting from the fact that they are now a murderer too, and will likely spend a Reggie's (Kray) worth in Prison.. Overwhelming public outrage will not happen against thgis person, and I for one would contribute to the looking after of his family due to his imminent incarceration

No to Capital Punishment - even with today`s DNA testing mistakes can and will be made in decision making.
BUT! Life should mean life imprisonment with no appeal allowed.

I would not like to be the person who has to inform the executed`s next of kin that the courts/police/jury made a dreadful mistake/error and hanged an innocent person..

WOULD YOU?

Yes... and so do Most of the Public --- But "Law and Order" is not Part of this Government,s Agenda --- More like "Anything Goes" Pat the Criminal on the Back - make their lives as comfortable as Possible and Bollocks to the Victims, the Law Abiding Citizens and their Families .......

Let's assume that you and others have got it 100% accurate, and that the men you mention are 100% guilty.
Let's not bother with the 101 side roads we could take.
They are guilty.
We kill them.
Fine.
You have now established a precedent that will be used in future trials and sentences.
Sooner or later, and given the history of the British judicial system, it will be sooner, we convict and execute someone who, we find out years later, was innocent all along.
We could have kept your people in jail forever.
We killed them.
We could have kept that innocent person in jail until he/she was proved innocent.
We killed him/her.
Was it worth it?
No.

Capital punishment forever. Whoever is against it should go talk to the family of the poor baby. Child rapists and terrorists should be the first ones to be put to death. The death penalty isn't cold blooded murder or petty revenge, is retribution.

I feel that Capitol punishment should be brought back under strict guidelines. I feel that the punishment should fit the crime so to speak.

makes me sick that these people are even given the chance of life, they take a young innocent childs life and we just put them away in a prison for the rest of their lives, i dont care about the morals on killing another human being, if they take a life they dont deserve to keep theirs. put them in a room with most people and chances are they wouldnt be alive when we had finished with them. i know for a fact if that was my kid id stop at nothing.
