I did Joseph not once but twice while in high school...once at school and once at church! The second time around, the cast also took a trip to see the national touring cast in Chicago, too. Boy howdy, was I SICK of that show by the time we finished!
My first time around, I was in the chorus--however, I did get to create and play my own coconut-shell "horse hooves" in "One More Angel," my favorite song in the score. (Do you have any idea how hard it is to get coconut shells cleaned out?!) The second time around, I worked my way up to singing the descant (ie the girl's part) in the same number. I was 16...I got to wear cowgirl boots with flippy little tassels...life was good. :)
