A ways back I was feeling like I needed some color so I bought a pack of tanning sessions at a tanning salon. I went a few times and my wife noticed a slight change in my color and asked me if I went tanning. I dont know why I felt embarassed about it but I did and I told her no, dont be silly. Today I went again and I got more color than usual and when I went home she kept asking and asking, so I told her the truth, mandid she get pissed. Now she thinks I lie to her about everything and even thinks I have something going on with someone in the salon. I deeply regret having lied to her and I dont know what to do now. I already apologized to her but she was so mad she said she didnt even want to be near me right now. I would appreciate if anyone has any good advice, serious answers only please.

Yeah. You blew it, but you didn't mean any harm. You were just embarrased. Wait until she calms down a bit, and then invite her to go to the salon and tan with you. You might even want to make it your new thing to do together. This will assure her that you don't have anything going on with anyone at the salon. After she calms down, you might want to let her know that you were embarrassed about it also. Who knows? That might be the subject of future jokes. Good Luck.

Dude, all you can do at this point is wait for her to chill. Yes, you blew it by lying the first time and now your credibility is shot. Don't bother saying anything until this blows over. Oh, and stay AWAY from that salon.
And try some flowers to apologize.
