I can identify with him sometimes but others i think hes insane. I was just wondering how others felt.

He was young, reckless, idealistic, and felt like he could make a difference. He felt neglected despite the fact he had a stable family and sources of income, despite the fact that he was white and priveliged. Despite his proclamations that he wanted to save the earth by living on his own and live his bohemian meets hunter experiment, it came down to his own selfish desire to conquer and to punish his parents. Don't we all go through this to some degree?

No, I dont think he was insane and in my way's I can identify with him.

I could not identify with him. How could any sane person walk into the desert with no provisions?
