I like John Saul (author) he writes good books, me being a teen ^.-
Some names are Creature, Darkness, Shadows, Black Creek Crossing, and The Eight Hand of Evil (all very non-unique titles, but nevertheless good books)

Let's see, when I was younger I read John Saul (good call above) and Christopher Pike (he's like rl stine but with sexual situations)
those are the only suspense type authors I can think of...
