I'm only a Level 3 Thief... People talk about bad areas but I'm finding it frustrating.... I'm full of stollen goods and need to get rid of it all!

Actualy {before asking this question} I had already got a begger to tell me to meet the Grey Fox (not sure of the name anymore...) at 12pm at some park .... but could'nt find it..... and got distracted on the way: dungons & places to rob....
So no shops take stolen goods at my level?!
Does someone remember where to meet Grey Fox, the Thief Legend??

You can sell your stuff to a fence if you join the Theives Guild (NOT the dark brotherhood as the other dude said). Either bribe a beggar or find a secure (Out of sight) spot to dump your stolen goods and punch a guard (or just get caught doing something illegal) to get sent to jail.
If you can get a beggar's (any beggar, any city)disposition to 70 or higher, they will tell you where to go to join the Thieves Guild. Alternatively, you can serve out a term in jail to have the Theives Guild find you and recruit you. Either way, you get the same result. Once in the thieve's guild you can get referred to a fence. The first fence in Ongar the World Weary in Bruma.
UPDATE: When you select the "Finding the Theives Guild" quest as active, you will get a marker on your compass that will tell you where to go. The Garden of Dareloth is the backyard of an abandoned shack in the Imperial Waterfront. Wait there until after midnight and a redguard carrying a torch will be standing in the back with a woman and an Argonian. Talk to the redguard and successfully complete the challenge to gain entry into the thieve's guild.
No standard shop will take your stolen goods. There is only two ways to get rid of them (only one good one), those are to join the guild and sell them to a fence, or get arrested, and the city watch will take all of your stolen goods off your hands.

You don't really get to actually 'meet' the Grey Fox til later in the Thieve's Guild missions, but generally they all hang around the Waterfront of the Imperial City (near a shack you buy) at Midnight. Later on, when you actually finish the Thieves Guild, shops begin to buy your fenced stuff.

Heres what you can do. Go to the main city. ( I cant recall the name but its like in the middle of the map). Steal something but get caught. After that pay to get out of jail and hang around the city. A creepy lizard dude will hand you a note. It says how to join the thiefs guild. Do that and i'm pretty sure they will buy your stolen goods.( this happened for me)

First you must steal something and get arrested, and select go to jail . Seriously. Then, a member of the thieves guild will come to you after you served your time and invite you into the thieves guild. Do a couple thieves guid missions and you will unlock a fence.
