Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be out the 21st of July so I was thinking JKRowling might be in London to sign the book for fans. Does anybody know anything about this?

J. K. Rowling lives in Edinburgh, Scotland. During the last book release she read the first chapter of Half-Blood Prince at Edinburgh Castle. I would think something similar might be planned for this year's release, but I don't think any sort of plans have been announced yet.

The link below is for the announcement on J. K.'s website for the release of Half-Blood Prince, just FYI on what an announcement would be like.

No it wouldn't Racheal because the 7th July will be the 2nd anniversary of the London Bombings (our 9/11) and it would be disrespectful and inappropriate for JKR to have unleashed a media circus on that date.

I'd think that she'll do something in Edinburgh again, though London would be great because I can get there more easily!

No, she's exiled from London caused her book was stated as "inappropriate" So she's moved to Wales.

i don't know... but wouldn't it make more sense if it was released on July(seventh month) , 7, 2007, since its the seventh book? Plus every year its been released at midnight U.K. time and seven U.S. time. i don't know but it makes much more sense to me....
