Stick whatever dvd you have into the PS2 and it should play... if it doesnt start up go to the browers screen where you can select which memory you want to look at...it should also have what cd,game, or dvd is in the system..click on the disk. Depending on who set up the PS2 there might be a password/adult restriction thing on there. Make sure to have the controller in when you turn the system on also. The start button is pause, the D-pad is basically how you move the arrow to get around the menus. the X button is the enter button. the shoulder buttons on the right are fastforward and next. the left side is for re-wind and a backward next. pressing select with bring up some other options such as dvd menu, chapter selection, subtitles etc.... hope this helps :)

You just put the DVD into the PS2, just like a video game. Then the controller can be used as a remote. Just play around witht the buttons and you will figure it out easily.
