It does get my attention better, and ends up being the first read for me. I've been told that all caps mean someone is yelling at you, but I'm the first one to do it myself, and I don't mean to yell.

Yes, it is a bit annoying like someone is yelling or talking very loud when it's not necessary. I can understand all caps for a specific word or phrase they want to stand out, but there is such a thing as overkill. ;-)

I think it's rude to yell at folks there are very few rules to posting stuff and this one does drive me crazy. I also like everyone else hit the cap lock key, but I will go back and change it rather than offending you.

Typing in all caps usually means someone is really desperate for people to read it and fast. most of the times i don't pay attention to all-capped titles. it is also harder for me to read since im used to seeing most letters in lowercase.
it does feel like they are yelling. because all-caps is big, it has a tone of yelling when you read it. its like raising your voice.

The ARE yelling. All caps is YELLING on the 'net. It doesn't make me want to click the question - it makes me want to smack them.

Not really, it annoys me...it feels like they're yelling, I think it's a child who typed whatever it is...weird, isn't it? Makes me avoid it, completely...

honestly, I like caps better, I don't take it as rude, just so much easier to read, coarse could go get another pair of spec's again

yes it DOES! i do it to emphasize something..not to YELL like some do.
wish people would answer INTELLIGENTLY to the questions.....and not with smart a$$ answers all the time....
