Put it in your purse and apply it when it wears off :)
Seriously if you put anything under your lips such as powder or a touch of foundation to keep it on longer you're going to dry the hell out of your lips in this cold weather.
They make the stuff that comes with two tubes, one a color, the other a clear lip gloss and that stuff is like all-weather paint! Soap and water doesn't always work when trying to get it off. However, I do like it but I'm told it has a lot of lead in it as most long-wear lipsticks do. If that doesn't concern you then I'd experiment with those because you'll wear the color for the next two days.

You can make last longer by applying a base like foundation or lip balm (the balm can't be too greasy or shiny) on your lips before applying your lip gloss and/or you can use a long lasting lip gloss.

MAC's lip glass is an excellent buy...yes lip glass. It adds shine and makes your lip gloss or lipstick last longer. Unfortunately, if you are a constant lip gloss eater this won't help.

Put on a waxy product first like a chapstick then apply the lip gloss.

Use Covergirl's lipstick. They have a certain kind that is supposed to last 24 hours or something like that. My mom got some, and when I tried it on for fun I couldn't get it off! However, the actual shine and gloss party has to be reapplied, but the color stays even if you eat and drink!

okay- this is what you have to do- go to bath and body works and buy the lip gloss in the green tube...it lasts long and it also is a breath freshener and a chapstic and a lip gloss- all in ONE...
