Naturally when you love someone you want to give them something in such a way that they show you love return.
This is not to say that you did it in order to receive something, no on the contrary you did it out of love and naturally love expresses itself in such a way that the other person returns the love.
If you are stuck on ideas I couldn't help you very much because no one knows whether you are married, engaged, in a friendship relationship or whatever. In each case the answer would be different.
What would I do for my love? Well since every day of the year is just gorgeous because she is in my life and I love her constantly a bunch of flowers and some chocolate would do. If I want to make it more special I would take her out that day also, and if I have time I would write her a letter for keepsakes

Remember love is not self seeking so if this man in your life is truly loving you he wouldn't have any expectations beyond what you set out to express.

My 16 yr. old son couldn't get the car over to our local store today because of the weather so he walked to the store in the snow and freezing rain to buy gifts for his girlfriend for Valentine's Day. What is that worth?

I would get him a present or somein special! If I was in love wit someone I would do stuff for him,(not sex or prostitute things) but play sports that I hate or maybe watch somethin on TV he likes but I hate!
