The mormons are so involved in taking over as much as they can that they don't do any of it well, aside from being a bonky cult.
For example, the much touted genealogical data library is information copied from public records by individuals assigned to the task. Many don't care how well the job is done, so much of the information is flawed. Worse than none at all.
We see the same sort of thing in youth organizations, government service, etc. etc. A network of poorly performing people placed by the LDS church.
Romney's people are already bragging about the mormons who will be appointed if he should by some fluke get into office.
Romney has gained global attention though. Remember when he distributed all those bribes to the Olympic Committee, to get the winter games in Salt Lake City? World-class criminal scandal.
Wonder if he replace Homeland Security with the Avenging Angels?

You are right that Mormons are very into sharing their beliefs with others, at the right time. But, they are also very respectful of other peoples beliefs and will not impose their beliefs upon others. They strongly value the individuals right to choose for themselves the path they will take. Also, the Mormon church doesn't tell its members how to vote, but that they should become educated and be active in the community. There are many Mormons who are Democrats (Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid) and Republicans. Romney has showed that he does not let his religion influence his politics, at least in total. Of course his religion influences his morals, his desire to strengthen the family, his acknowledgement of individual accountability, his respect for all mankind, etc., but this is not politics, these are morals. Look at his history, his morals, and his agenda and vote on that, not on his religion, because it is only one part of him. It would be ignorant to do otherwise.

I dont comprehend that lots approximately Governor (no longer Senator) Mitt Romney, yet I dont think of that when he grew to become into the Governor of Mass. he pushed the state to be greater religious. bear in mind that Massachusetts is between the main politically and religiously liberal states interior the united states. If he's in a position to be a effective Governor of a state mutually with that it exhibits his skill to paintings throughout the time of religious lines.

I don't want to openly say critical things about Mormans, but Read Mark Twain's take on them sometime. And when we look the the LDS fundamentalists of the Joe Smith variety - and folks like Warren Jeffs, its is even more questionable.

I think we're more likely to become a fundamentalist CHRISTIAN dictatorship than Mormon. The president is not king, no matter how much some of them like to think they are.

That's why we need a Jewish president. The Jews have never forced anyone to convert, which is more than one can say for Christians and Muslims.

My problem with Mormonism is that their services are so secretive. Anybody can go to a catholic mass or any other christian service but if one is not Mormon he cannot go to just any Mormon service. I am agnostic.

No. We have taken the Ten Commandments out of courts and even the Pledge of allegiance out of schools. It is kinda sad. Im Christian, but I would rather have a real and moral Mormon in office than a immoral and fake Christian (Obama, Hillary).
