The Epkitin is a phosphate binder to help eliminate the excess phosphorous from their bodies. I mix it in with their food. This will help them to live longer and healthier. Does anyone know of a natural phosphate binder, herbal or flower essence? I will be very grateful to find a natural cure for my babies. I don't take prescription drugs myself and I really don't like the fact of giving them to my cats. Ironically, it was prescription medications that gave them the disease in the first place.

My cat also had kidney failure. He was supposed to have an I.V. and medication and the doctor said he might live a month. I gave him vitamins and cranberry instead. He lived over another year. The biggest problem was finding ways to get him to take the cranberry extract.
