usually when I am not skiing and wearing my fluffy warm ski pants, I will wear jeans and then a pair of water proof shell pants over them. that will keep you dry. I would also recommend long underwear of some kind to keep you warm. i love the rag wool socks or the ones by smart wool. very toasty warm. as far as boots go i usually wear my columbia mid-calf boots. keeps the snow out and are warm. I have also been known to wear my keen water proof shoes if I am not tromping in too deep of snow.

you will need gloves and I would probably recommend a hat in case you get hit by snowball. otherwise hair will get wet and you will get cold.

There are special boots we need. HUMMMm I use a grocery bag over a pair of socks and then my old tennis. but then I was able to get a job and buy a pair or insulated boots you can get any where Walmart G.I. Joe's, any outdoor, sports place. in case you do not have a g.i.joes near you. have fun in the snow I am totally jealous and envious I love the snow and I love to play in it even at my age. SHHHH don;t tell my hubby I play in the snow when he is at work OK.
HAPPY times ahead to you

Inexpensive Ugg Look-a-like boots. I own a few that I take out and wear just when it is snowy out. I also wear sweat pants with an elastic bottom so that I can tuck the boots underneath. For added warmth, you may want to wear a thin pair of leggings underneath the pants and boots as well as thicker socks. =) have fun and happy vday!!!
