I recommend the BeniHana location in Dearborn. I would avoid downtown Royal Oak, Troy and Farmington Hills at all cost.

The Beni Hana experience is way better. THere is a place in downtown Royal Oak called Katana that is the same type of place but is way better than the corporate run Beni Hana.

I would say that Beni Hana has better quality food and service than Mongolian.

Not that I have a germ-phobia, but the condition of the meat and vegitable prep stations at Mongolian have many times been less than clean.

Mongolian may as well be a self service restaurant. You have to wait in line at the prep bar, you wait in line for your food to be cooked...not my cup of tea.

Mongolian - it is just as good but so much less expensive. Only go to Beni for "the experience" - go to Mongo for the food and good prices.

Mongolian is far better. Besides, you smell like grease when you leave Beni Hana !!

Beni Hana feels like it has fresher food since its not sitting out all day long with people picking over it

Monogolian Barbeque!!! They have the best stir fry and the best mixed drinks!

They're different...

Mongolian BBQ you make you're own food, you can go up as many times as you want. But if the lines are long, you are no longer hungry by the time you're done with you're second bowl. It's as tasty as you are creative.

Benihana they make it for you and it's pretty tasty. It's usually enough food, but it's pricey.
