well just reporting in i recieved news on saturday that we where not sucessful in our attepmts for our baby. we start our second round of ivf in a month and i am scared of the words i'm sorry maybe next time you are NOT PREGNANT. it has been 2 days now and the crying has lessoned but the pain is still there. returning to work which will be hard as everyone was so excited when i took leave now i will go back to work and explain to them. had some spiritual healing done which is quite cleansing they told me they sensed it was to be a little boy if only they could of told me he wasn't that strong.

MY sympathy and empathy go to your and your love. I too went through hell and back ttc- and fortunately i had good outcomes (after i'd had enough of chlomid, shots, ivf, went and did my own thing with a homopathic endo and after 3 months concieved the good old fasioned way) but back to you-just try and take it a day at a time. And i know all you want to do is tell the world of the news- but now that you've experienced this first hand- you know and feel what illease you;ll go through by telling the job folks of the negative factor. my advice- keep it low key- tell family and friends and leave it at- if/when your out again-there's no need to tell work (they'll probablly put it together on their own) but at least you dont have to re-do the conversations over and over. I told my whole office the first 3 cycles and like you had to go in 6 weeks later and tell them all no-it was like getting beat up- if felt worse then when the doctor told us know- there wasno opportuntiy to live and let it go- i'd get done telling one and 10 mintes later another office mate would come to me and i'd repeat it all over. thats when i decided i would only tell my boss who was to get me the time off- and let it be. when i finally became preggo- i waited until months before i told the office mates. they knew when they saw me out for the length of time- but also realized it was to be private- they hugged and welcomed me back but no questions- much easier.

take care and i will send baby dustings your way in my prayers.

I feel for you. The waiting period is the worst. At this point its out of your hands, so you'll just have to dig in and get through it. I hope things work out for you. I know one couple who has been through 2 rounds with no success, another who's been through 1 with no success, and one who will have her first next month.

This story sounds so familiar. My wife Mag and I are going through the same thing. She keeps a diary of the whole thing on www.myivfalternative.com click on Mag's IVF Diary.

I hope this helps a little
