ok firstly, just try out a regular. try not to go out in public yet. do it on a day when u'll stay home. when u change it, if there was a big leak , u probably need the super absorbancy. if there wasn't much and u had a hard time takin it out cuz it was dry, u probably need the lightest one. if it didn't leak or little leak, and it came out just fine, then regular is just for u. its just by trial and error. forget the amount of grams that was on the box.

If you're a teenager or just starting out with tampons it's best to use the junior or light flow tampons. If you find that they aren't enough then move on to regular. Most of the time, regular will work. Usually, your flow will be light in the beginning, then switch to heavy and get lighter until the end of the period. I get the multipack which has light, medium, and super absorbency tampons in one box. That way, you'll be prepared no matter what. Try to change it every four hours or so, and don't leave it in for longer than eight. To prevent leaking I suggest using a pantyliner as well, especially at night.

A tampon should last about 2 hours. Start with regular. If you're changing it more than every 2 hours, use super. If you have a really heavy flow, get the super plus (many of us need them a couple of days!) As your period gets lighter, you can scale back to super and then regular. That's why those multi-pack boxes are so handy.

i would agree with the person over there that you should start with regular and work your way up. but wear a pad with the tampon and youll know when its the right size by if you get any leakage on the pad. if you get a few leak spots with the regular and the super keeps your pad dry then super is right for you :]

It really varies on who you are. You should probably use super on first and second day and regular on days 3 & 4 and you should never sleep with them in. Also, if your that scared maybe just stick with a pad.

start with the lowest and if you leak or fill it before you have to pee again then it is too low an absorbancy. then go to the next level up.

Start with regular and then see if it is adequate. If not try super.
