Sure, I haven't actually heard it myself (I know, I know) BUT ... my coworker (who is a musician [mainly Irish folk guitar]) who has a gazillion albums and is a Beatles fan (every CD, etc) claims it is a very well done and exciting spin on the Beatles' songs, having been mixed by Sir George Martin (who signed the Beatles to EMI in 1962 and produced practically ALL of their records).

So, with George Martin (and son ... old boy is about 80!) on the boards, it's got to be good ... unless you're some kind of "purist" (and I cringe at the term).

It's the soundtrack to the Cirque De Soleil performance of the same name. It's basically a bunch of Beatles songs remixed with other Beatles songs and such. I think its a great album and it puts a whole different spin on some great classics!!!

It's a 'reprise' (or whatever) so that the cirque du soleil (again...?) people can dance along to it.

Now I'm not a circus fan, so bias is evident, but it's some pretty poor versions of 'not their best' songs. Some sound good, cos they're almost untouched, or striped down, but they end prematurely.

The worst thing about it. By a Mile. Is the revamp of 'Julia' which lasts for one word, and plays on the fact that John's mum (the song's for her) was killed by being run over - by mixing it with an ambulance siren. Hideous
