Is it normal to not be that hungry? I have a healthy diet and eat right but for the last few days my appetite has not been huge. Is this normal as you get closer to the third trimester? Thanks !!

This is absolutely normal! As the baby grows, there is less room for your stomach, and there will be times when you just are not hungry, or you don't even want to think about food.
Just remember to eat. Smaller and more frequent meals/snacks might be what's best for you.

Trust me when I say this.......ENJOY NOT BEING HUNGRY! I am 38 1/2 weeks along and I am tearing up a box of cereal right now because no matter what I eat and when I eat it, I still feel hungry to the point it almost makes me sick....I have gained 7 lbs in the past 3 weeks and that is not normal at all for me, especially how far along I am. Enjoy it.

I went through this stage too. I was forcing myself to eat - simply because of baby. If i wasn't pregnant i wouldn't have bothered eating! lol.

When mentioning this to my doc she said it was completely normal. As your uterus gets bigger it presses against your internal organs, including your stomach, making you feel less hungry. Also, if you are drinking more water that will make you feel full as well. Don't worry though - baby is always taking the nutrients and vitamins it needs from you. Just make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins and all will be well.

Just as a note - i'm 31.5wks now and my appetite is (slowly) on the increase again! lol. So don't stress yourself out about it.

All the best :)

i am 27 weeks pregnant and i am experiencing the same thing. this is my third pregnancy and it is completely normal. at the beginning of all of my pregnancys i would eat all the time, but now i have slowed down alot. as you get further in your pregnancy your appetite slows down due to your growing baby. the less room you have, the less you eat or have the urge to eat. as long as you arent going all day without eating you will be fine and so will baby.

Yes because the baby is getting bigger and pushing on your stomach so it is feeling fuller so to speak. As long as you are eating right and not loading up on junk you'll be fine. If you don't gain enough wait the Dr. will tell you. Good Luck!

trust me once you hit about 30 weeks your baby will want to go into a growth spurt. and you will be hungrier, just eat normally and stay active, you will be fine.

Um i don't think so. In fact you'd probably be vomiting up what you did eat. Check with your doctor though.
