Go to hmotorsonline.com

You have many choices to choose from, but it all depends on your budget. If you have 10k get a k20a, if you have a few grand get a 2nd gen b16, or a B18c, if you have a couple grand get a D15b and boost it.

If you get a b series your gonna need new motor mounts. If you get a d series you can use the ones you have.

go to homemadeturbo.com, you can put a turbo kit together for around a grand. Then you have to get it tuned, etc. So you can spend 4 grand on a b16 swap, or a full internally built d series running 12's.

Honda-tech.com is a GREAT website to learn and buy things. You can get things really cheap, sometimes unbelievably cheap. Engines, swaps, seats, rims are always for sale there. The things for sale are also divided by area, such as widwest, california, north east, etc.

The best (and easiest) swap I have heard of is using the Acura Integra engine (preferably from the Type-R, or the GS-R.) Apparently, there is very little to it. The engine is an easy fit, and I believe the engine mounts need almost no tweaking. Even the wiring harness is the same (the Integra 's computer will plug right in.) You can probably pick up a second hand engine from a wrecked car for a reasonable price, but don't forget: you usually get what you pay for. Don't go cheap on the engine unless you're planning to completely rebuild it before putting it in the Civic.

Good luck!

You got a few options here.. could go with a swap of course.. But heres another idea. For the money you could spend in a swap you could go with an Edelbrock turbo kit for the D series engine. I do believe they make that kit. Going to be almost the same price I do believe as the swap. Maybe even a hair cheaper. Easier to install. Won't be like a turbo B series but it'll make a good noticeable difference.
