There's a houston based company that has revolutionised with technology much to the envy of its competitors in the network marketing industry. When the company launched, they did NOT even have a number to call and place an order. They created a new business model where people order online as opposed to having a huge 30million dollar home office to house 500 people sitting answering the phone taking orders. This business model has saved the company literally millions in overhead costs hence they pay out much more handsomely to their distributors than the competitors....BRILLIANT.
If you wish to take a closer look at the company you can contact me.

Boeing and major automakers use IT extensively in their ERP (enterprise resource planning). When there are thousands of parts and subassemblies in a product, and there are quite a few product lines for automakers, right parts must come together at the right time. Tier 1 EMS (electronic manufacturing service) like Flextronics serve many customers on manufacturing many products ranging from Palm, PCs, cell phones, i-Pods, etc, each of which has many parts.
