I AM A HUGE NEW JERSEY DEVILS FAN .. They have a great chance at making a run for the President's Trophy (Most Points in NHL). They are almost guaranteed a high spot in the playoffs and it may seem they are set up to have an incredible 2007 playoffs. However, the teams that are chasing the lower seeds in the playoffs seem to either have a grudge or rivalry against this team. I expect the Devils to reach the Second Round, but it will be a ridiculously rough road in order to have a good playoff run.

I know the Devils have a great shot at the Playoffs. However, I think that they'll win two rounds, then lose. I'm an Avs fan, so that would be friggin awesome if they could recreate that scenario. (if the avs make the post season which is doubtful)

That tight defensive style they play will probably do them well in the playoffs where checking is tight.
They also have the goaltending to be patient and wait for their scoring opportunities.
It'll all hinge on Brodeur though. This team doesn't score enough goals to compensate for anything less that excellent netminding.

A team is only as good as it's goaltender. And Brodeur is by far still the best in the game. (I do hope they get knocked out early, if any team in the East, I fear them the most ... mainly because of Brodeur).

If you consider making it to the Eastern Conference finals good, but that's the farthest they'll get. The Sabres are going all the way!

They will get to the semis and maybe even the finals, depending on what the Sabres do to add depth to their lineup before the trade deadline.
