Please run the following steps:
1. Download the CPUZ program from the following link: http://www.upgradeable.com.au/files/cpu-z-134.zip
2. To open the .zip file use an extracting tool (eg. WinZip "http://www.winzip.com" or WinRAR "http://www.rarlab.com")
3. Extract the files in the zip file to a known folder location on your computer
4. Once you have located the extracted files, run the CPUZ.exe program
5. When the CPUZ window has opened (may take a few seconds), there should be 6 Tabs located on the top half, Select the "About" tab
6. Look at the memory and browse through Slot 1, Slot 2, etc.
7. To obtain a copy of ther results, on the Tools section of the tab, select the "HTML Report" button
8. Save the file to a known location (e.g. My Documents)
9. Go into your web browser and view the HTML file.
10. Exit the CPUZ program by click the X button on the top right of the window.

The best thing to do would be to read the sticker on the RAM that will tell you the exact specifications of the RAM. If no such sticker is found on the existing RAM, you should probably show the RAM stick to a friend who knows about RAMs or take it to a computer store. Once you figure out what kind of RAM it is, you can decide what size you want to upgrade to, based on A) your budget. B) your needs. Do make note that some motherboards have a limit to how many Mega Bytes of RAM they will accept.
