Great customer service is being treated fairly by a person who can look past all the mannerless bastards they had to deal with on that day to see what I need.

If any of you mean, nasty, irrational, over-demanding customers had to work in a job where you waited on someone just like you, you would change your tune in a hurry.

…understand and deal efficiently with the customer’s issues
…be polite, patient, friendly and professional
…see things from the customer’s perspective
…ensure that the customer is satisfied
