emo... as in i cut my self... you know .. i slit my writs and sh*t like that... and she dosnt like it when ppl do that i have a bestfriend that is the same way she hates when i cut myself and she wont talk to me till the cuts heal

my Boyfriend was the same but i told him this is who i am if you love me this is something you'll have to deal with or just leave, so if she loves you then she shouldn't care about it, and if she does then she cant love you that much, but what ever happens I'm sure it will be for the best

emo.. from what i know this is a label that deals with goth fashion and certain music tastes? if this is the case, i don't see why this type of preference should cause any problems with your relationship.. instead of focusing on the label, have a little chat with her and tell her about the emo-related things you like, the values you hold, etc.. and see if she's comfortable and still accepts you. don't break up unless she expresses direct hatred towards you.. it's ok for her to not generally like a fashion style, but as long as you love each other, then you should be ok.

You should tell her. Honesty is important in a relationship. You never know, if you tell her, she might be okay with it. Or she could break up with you. If she does break up with you, I'm sure there are plenty of other girls out there for you.

Oh, please - are you two going to get this hung up over a label?
Talk about how you really feel about each other without using such confining language. Use "I" statements. Only then can you really decide if you are meant to go out together.
