I am using the Korg TM-40 Digital Tunrer Metronome. It is only playing the notes between low C and C# on the A string. How can I adjust the frequency so I can get notes higher or lower than just these notes?

The best tuner I know of is Boss TU-12H, check it out at musiciansfriend.com. They have two or three similar models, pick the one that is the best for you. The frequencies business is easy, is your tuning setting is A=440Hz, then the octave from that A is 880 Hz, the next octave is 1760Hz=1.76 Mhz, and so on; an octave is always double the frequency of the main note.
