If the collectors continue to call you, you can send them a letter requesting they cease communication with you under the terms of the Fair Credit Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C.S. Section 1692. When you write your letter, do not forget to date it, sign it, and keep a copy. If you really want them to pay attention, send the letter CERTIFIED. By sending the letter CERTIFIED, you have proof that you sent the letter. If you send this letter, it will not only stop letters to you, but will also stop telephone calls to you.

Ask for their address, send a letter, certified and regular mail, state in the letter this is NOT your debt, you are no longer married to this woman and DEMAND they stop harassing you with phone calls or you will seek legal advise.
That should stop them. Some collection companies are ruthless and do not obey the law. If I were you and they continue to call I would then contact an attorney.
There are websites that will give you collection laws specifically for your state . Just do a search. Try Budd Hibbs to start.
Good luck! Don't let them get the best of you. If you have caller ID just stop answering the phone when you see the number. (after you get the address) I know it's not right that you have to screen your calls for something that isn't your liability, but it's not worth the stress the deliberately cause. They're not hanging up and thinking about the call for days....

If you're just saying, ' she doesn't live here' and hang up, they will keep calling.
It's probably multiple companies that are calling, so just because you tell one doesn't mean the others will know.
Each time they call tell them (in a civil manner) that you two were divorced in 19?? and that you have absolutely no contact with her. If you do have any info, like what city she's living in, give them that.
You might also ask them to check to see if your phone number is associated with any other files for her in their office.
If she had 10 accounts with your phone number listed and they remove the one that they called you about on that day, they'll still have your number on 9 accounts.

get a caller id
when they call
photograph it
remember, if indeed you don't have contact with this woman, this is not her phone number, hence they are calling the wrong phon number
tell them
"DO NOT call me about this issue, DO NOT call me about this issue ever again, as allowed to me by law im asking you not to call me abou this issue again. YOU HAV THE WRONG NUMBER. remove this number from your files"
be clear, nice, and straigh forward
research in your area, there is somekind of lay that allows you $500 from the caller if they keep calling you AFTER THEY BEEN WARNED.
hope this helpe

Talk to the supervisor of the agent who calls you. This typically settles the matter very quickly.

All they can do is call. You have no obligation to do their work for them. If they are so stupid they can't track her down through the internet tools available now, they are idiots.

Yes I agree. Talk to someone in charge and tell them that she is your ex wife and you dont talk to her anymore and you dont know where she is.
That should stop them from calling you.
