Any good creative writing groups in Austin, Texas?

Question

Would like to find some creative groups that may focus on adventure/murder mystery subjects in Austin, Texas. Also, if there is professor/instructor that is particularly good. I am also a middle aged woman and a first time writer.

Have tried the public library, bookstores, and the internet (for 4 hours). Only found a site where you can make a meeting if someone wants it.

contact your local library and they may have a list or something going on there.. also contact a community college they have courses you can sit in on and offer ones to the community for free or can turn you in the right direction.. good luck
