That's when people get PMS -- before their period. That's why it's called Pre-Menstrual Syndrome. My personal theory is that, if it's a sexually active person, her body is crying out for more sex. It may be a result of vitamin and mineral deficiencies, too, but I would recommend a man who's dealing with such a person study Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, or the movie, Kiss Me Kate. Don't take a lot of cr_ _ from such a person. Take charge and love her!

the P stands for pre meaning before. PMS happens the week or so before a period and usually ends the first day of bleeding, but not always.

Yes. It is bad for you. Seriously one way to help it, that I read in a book, is omega 3 fatty acid fish oil pills. They help your mood, since you may be hormonally imbalanced. They are only 2 or 3 dollars at Wal Mart. They are not as bad as they sound. Actually, they help with a lot of things. Try its.

P is for Pre...Pre means before :) so no not really its actually normal...it happens like 5 days before a women gets her period...
