I have been struggleing with PCOS since i was 15-16 yrs. old. I'm almost 19 and still havent found something to keep it under control. I was wondering if there is ANYONE out there who understands what I am going through and knows if there is ANY medication that can help me with my menstrual cycle.

I am currently going on 4 months without a period, my longest stretch ever. Should I be worried?

Yes, my wife suffers from this. Excess facial/body hair, acne, painful, sporadic periods, etc. One thing she did to alleviate her symptoms was to loose weight. She's lost 60 pounds (she gained 80 with our 1st child) and excerises regularly. Try www.pcos.net or webmd.

I had the same problem at your age until my early 30's. I tried BC but it really messed up my emotions. Didn't try any other meds because EVERYTHING has side effects so I figured why trade one grief for another?

I became a vegetarian around 30, started exercising and drinking water instead of sugary stuff or caffeine. That's when things started to regulate themselves. Got off milk & eggs eventually.

When I let up on the exercise my periods tend to get all messed up again, so I try to do something at least 5 days a week. Usually 1 - 3 mile walks. It also got rid of cramps. I rarely have any now - sometimes a bit on the 1st or 2nd day, but that's usually because I haven't been exercising.

I hate PCOS. Learning to live healthier can reduce symptoms.

This is something you need to speak to your doctor about. There are several medications that they can use to alleviate the various symptoms of the disorder. I was on birth control pills for a while, then switched over to metformin (a diabetes medicine). It will all depend on what your doctor thinks is best for you.
