It makes no sense to me that poor unemployed Americans would vote for the very people that are destroying them.

That is a great question. I have often wondered the same thing myself. I am not so well off, myself. But, I am smart enough to know that most of the really rich people care nothing
what-so-ever about people make very much less than they do. Unless they are Politicians, and then they only care about winning your vote.

that is the point. Political events aren't from now on some thing more beneficial than a large team of folk from a similar social status. the reason more beneficial those who make 50,000 a twelve months or a lot less vote democratic is because they income more beneficial from the democratic celebration. The get more beneficial jobs, more beneficial efficient wages, and a more beneficial efficient existence. The republican are geared in the route of the wealthy. they trust in case you reward huge company and the wealthy it is going to create more beneficial jobs for individuals. notwithstanding the republicans thoughts do not look to create jobs, purely seem on the state of the economy now.

Democrats are rich, too. Ted Kennedy. And $49 mil is pretty dang rich to me. So not just the rich vote Republican. The poor actually should vote for Republicans, they lower taxes.

People of all income levels vote Republican. There are several reasons. Positions on social issues is a common reason, positions on national security issues is another. Some are smart enough to know that the best economic plan is 1 that enables the economy to grow improving everybody's situation rather than a zero sum plan that will become a negative sum plan where everybody loses.

They derive their sense of identity vicariously through those of material means, social stature and power.
What they don't get is that most of those people are hollow shells and bottomless wells. They're a waste of space.
