OMG! My grandma and grandpa used to say that when anyone farted! LOL... I think it originated from a word that sounds similar in Portuguese...

I Googled the word and it came back with several answers, none of them very nice. Depending on which US state you live in, it means either a) a black person, b) derogatory slang for someone who likes rear-entry sex, or c) a slob. Trust me, this term is NOT in Webster's Dictionary...
