no offense, but i wouldnt do anything. if you do something it just gives them satisfaction and a reaction that they were looking for and they will probably just bully you more if you do that. if you try to just ignore them (i know it is hard) things will start to simmer down.

I'll give you the same answer I gave to another Yahoo question of the same subject area:
Bullies ! Bullies ! Bullies!
How I HATED the bullies!
My dad is a bully, so that didn't help, but I did learn how to deal with them. People in general need to understand that this is a part of life - bullies are EVERYWHERE. But what's funny is this:
When they grow up; when they finally mature, guess what? They DON'T REMEMBER that they did bullying. They did not know that they hurt people. Is that not something else? I've seen shows of people who confront the bullies some 10, 20 yrs later on a television show, and the bully was totally CLUELESS that they created such pain in another student; in fact, the show I watched had the bully as not even REMEMBERING the person at all!
And of course, I've attended reunions, and most of the bullies have had rough lives, unhappy, looking years older than they should, so now I feel sorry for them.
Chances are, a person during their lifetime will probably face alot of people like that, some to be mean, some are just ignorant of what they are doing. We need to focus on having empathy for others, and show people who have afflictions that they can be loved, too. There are kids who are crippled, blind, deaf, health problems of all kinds that are also picked on. It's unfair, but it is life. We can learn to be sympathetic and develop a deeper understanding of peoples feelings, so that maybe, when we become adults, there are careers in counseling, nursing, becoming a doctor, physical therapist, or some other occupation that will help a person feel like they are a part of the community of mankind; that they are loved by giving of onself to others. This runs contrary to the Bully's Purpose in Life / Mission Statement.
Bullies are miserable people.
Ignore them.

depends on how bad you are being bullied.
if someone is physically bullying you, then you should just kick their asses.
however,
if they are just calling you names, then instead of saying anything, just phuck with them really bad....like putting a lot of super glue inside their padlocks on their lockers.
be creative but not destructive...you don't really want to hurt anyone, that could get you into a lot of trouble.
buy one of those cheap airhorns (you know the ones that look like an aeresol can with a horn attached to it.) , so the next time they walk up to you put it right next to their ears and pull the trigger.
or just let them run their mouth...let them say whatever they are going to say and just stare right through 'em. wait until they are done pause for a second or two and say..."I'm sorry, did you say something?"
if you get lucky enough to be in gym class with them, sneak back into the locker room and put itching powder in their clothes.....
steal their homework and change all the answers.
if you have a cell phone, get a calling card so the number can't be traced. either yourself or another friend with a deep voice call the school office and pretend to be the persons parent....tell the school officials that you are coming to pick up your child early today, he has a dentist appointment and you want him waiting in the office when you get there because you will be in a hurry.

Look at the bully, laugh at him/her, walk away and BE STRONG. Lot of people will see that, including those insecure lowlifes. Keep ignoring him/her 100% and think of them as a piece of dog crap that you see on the ground. If it gets a lot worse, Try to find their weakness and beat the hell of them OR sue their ***.

Nothing really works very well.
Typically they like to get a reaction. Saying something is a reaction. You have to judge "how bad" the bullying is.
If you can survive it, I'd say ignore it and take it. If you can't, screw the "law of the school yard", and tell someone.
Best of luck. I've been there.

I was raised in New York. the best way to get back at a bully is by getting a group of siblings or older cousins to beat them up. Don't beat them up too bad, just bad enough for them to leave you alone.

Really there are only two courses of action that will work when dealing with a bully. Either you ignore them 100%, completely, or you knock the hell out of them. Anything else is just feeding their ego.

Being bullied is no fun. The best thing to do is just walk away. If you talk back to them it just encourages them to tease you more. If you're bullied at school, talk to your teacher or to the principal.

Beating them up would be effective, but you must be successful at doing so or else the problem could complicate... And make sure to carry a weapon if possible in case of further altercations.
