brush it with a soft brush. and possibly wipe it with a damp cloth.

hang it for a day where it can catch full sunlight this should help.

if it does not, then give thanks to the animals and plants that went into making it and bury it in the ground where it and it's energy can return to the earth.

then look to find a new one.

The sun is supposed to cleanse it in the morning from the bad dreams of the night before, but if you're still experiencing bad dreams, you may need a new one. I would recommend making your own, or have a friend or someone you know make it for you. A dream catcher is not supposed to be purchased, according to lore.

I suggest you take a soft brush ( not a hair brush) and clean the dreamcathcher. Keep it as a good luck and to bring you good dreams. Try making bed time more relaxing, Don't eat just before going to bed. Say your prayers and perhaps you dreams will be more pleasant.

I would get a new one, and not hang it from the same hook. If it is falling apart, the energy (magic if you will) is gone. Maybe the maker has passed away, or it has caught as many bad dreams as it could.

You could try to vacuum it, but it would be more fun to buy a new one. I also have a (dusty) dream catcher over my bed, I have always had a tendency to bad dreams, so I try everything to keep them away.

Sweet dreams.
