A nerd is a smart person, while geeks are often very focused on technology. Nerds are the ones who read alot, or know lots of things. they are the ones who study all the time, or never study, but still get good test scores.
Geeks are the ones who hack into computers, and spend hours each day online. They are the ones who shut themselves away for hours playing roleplaying games, and have no friends except other geeks.

A nerd is someone who has knowledge but the morons who have the social skills deride because if the nerds were recognised for what they are....the morons would be exposed!!!!
Nerds are cool because in years to come when the morons are on benefits and swilling beer at 3.00 pm...the nerds will be working in their law/architecture/medical practices....and going home in luxury cars to women who are looking forward to flying to Prague for the weekend and shagging their brains out!!!!

Well that is a very "interesting" question. They are usually people that are like OCD about their school work. You know they have no life, and all they do is homework and extra credit for school!!! Or if your talking about the candy nerds then all I got to say is it's candy that is just freakin delicious!!!

A nerd is somebody who is really into computers and video games. If they think that math is cool or fun, then they are definitely a nerd. And if they have supsenders, horn rimmed glasses and they are a teenager, then yeah.

Nerds were always seen as geeky, spectacle-wearing, over intellectual,earnest clean-cut,unadventurous boring people,but now they are seen as quite cool! They probably are just as cool as scruffy,dirty,loud,rockers,I think I know which I'd prefer to have a long conversation with.....

Chiefly US slang...An idiotic,foolish,or very unattractive person.
It is sometimes used for someone who is fanatical about something in particular e.g....a computer nerd.
