on a screen with a bunch of foreign languages needs service only every now and then otherwise works just fine other days.

It means your Xbox is dying and the only thing you can do is buy a new one...I had the same problem you can either send it to be fixed by Microsoft which will cost about 100 dollars or you can go out and buy a new one.

I have never had that happen to me so I do not know why your xbox is doing that. If i were you I would give microsoft a call 1800 4MYXBOX. They will be able to tell you whats wrong and whether or not you need to have a repair. Chances are if its doing it now somewhere down the road it will probably break down on you. I had that happen to me. And if you have a warranty still you should get it fixed before you have to end up paying for it out of your own pocket.

the green and orange is because of the tint and color settings on your tv the language thing is beyond me though

IT does that because it needs the audio and video cords plugged in and if the are they are probably lose.
