My existing hub...a Belkin..... is several years old & can no longer handle most up to date hardware.

as long as its usb2.0 it will be the same speed. maplins have a good one for about £15.

Spend at least twenty pounds and get a USB2 powered hub with at least seven ports (the more the better). As a general rule avoid small four port hubs that do not come with a power supply. In my experience Belkin products offer decent quality but stay away from the generic unbranded "bargains" on Ebay.

i have a 7port belkin on my desk top its a good one to .the best , belkin
