They will win the AL East. There bullpen is the best in the league, They have the best shortstop in the game(Tejada), the best 2nd baseman(Roberts) in the game, a top 3 third baseman(Mora)and a top 3 catcher(Hernandez). Huff has great power potential and Nick the Stick Markakis is a young Ted Williams in the making, while Corey Paterson can steal 50 bases with his eyes closed, the bench is deep with payton who would normally be a starter and Gibbons who would be the everyday DH. Cabrera has the nastiest stuff in the league and if he can get things right in his head, he'd be on the same level as Johan Santana, Bedard is also coming into his own, Trachshel is good for 10-15 wins, Loewen has a great curveball, wright is solid. They really have no weaknesses. Also with Kris Benson sidelined, expect a home video of him and Anna to be coming out.

Final AL East Standings for 2007

1. Baltimore Orioles
2. New York Yankees
3. Boston Red Sox
4. Tampa Bay Tarpoons

Are you joking? I like the Orioles, but they aren't gonna win the AL East. That's for the Red Sox. I beg to differ about the bullpen, shortstop, 2B, 3B, and catcher. Tejada was never the best, currently that's Derek Jeter, much as I hate him. Brian Roberts is awesome, but honestly, have you ever heard of that guy Chase Utley? Mora is a shortstop (and one who doesn't hit that well) at third. Ramon Hernandez is good, but not great like Mauer, Victor Martinez, and Brian McCann. Huff is underrated and he could do well, but he's not a star, and his potential is gone because he's like 30 or so. Markakis is quite the athlete and will become a good player, but he's no Ted Williams. Markakis could be like Andre Dawson, good fielder, fast, solid all-around hitter, though. Cory Patterson can steal and field but not hit very well. Payton is a good bench player, but not very good everyday. Cabrera has no control. Bedard is one of the top 25 in the league though. Trachsel is old and washed up. Loewen could be a solid pitcher. Just because they went out and spent a ton of money on relievers doesn't mean they're good. Bradford is a righty situational guy and a groundball guy, not that great, Williamson could be good, but Jamie Walker? No. The O's are cool but not that good.

You are delusional buddy. The Sisters of Saint Mary could stop your O's from winning 85 games, much less the division. Nice unbiased opinion. Wasted money will prove to be insult to injury. Mora as a top 3 3rd basemen is ludicrous. Cabrera is "wild thing" mitch williams without the mullet and Tejada, the ONLY player on your entire team that is desirable in the least, is coming off a down year for him. Not enough pitching in a pitching rich division spells a 4th place finish for Baltimore.

i'm sorry my chum. The O's look ok on paper. C-Hernandez is okay at the back of the plate. he's not any Veritek, Mauer, Molina or previous watered down Posada. i think he's actual 3 for the branch. 1st-Millar would provide you fifteen homers, yet he won't hit for known. he's large for the cluhouse nonetheless. 2nd-Roberts may well be a celebrity...if he can post large numbers each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. third-Mora is a stable performer each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. SS- Tejada has grow to be an underachiever over the final 2 years. what's up with Miggy being Manny each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days? Is he the 2nd coming of Albert Belle or the 0.33 incarnation of Glenn Davis? i like the outfield. It reminds me of the days whilst that they had Steve Finley, Mike Devereaux and Brady Anderson available. Petterson, Stern and Payton will make some large catches, yet none of them will shine on the plate. Huff will post twenty-5 homers and so will Markakis. Markakis via fact the 2nd coming of Babe Ruth? Is there a warm dogs eating contest as quickly as they play "Thank God i'm a rustic Boy" interior the midst of the seventh? The beginning pitching would be plus if all and sundry is sturdy interior the top and continues to be harm loose. Benson and Cabrera are basket situations. Leo are in a position to get them in line mutually as coaching the sport to Bedard, Penn, and Loewen. Which Wright will happen? The bullpen has constantly been an O's trademark. That factor seems large for the birds. The Orioles are finding at a 0.33 or fourth place end this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Your proprietor sucks and the followers stopped springing up from Washington via fact of him. whilst grew to become into the final sellout that wasn't a majority of crimson Sox or Yankee followers? Even the Nationals followers represented properly in allure city. there is not any pastime in that city for baseball anymore. a minimum of you are able to sneak down into the 1st row interior the 6th inning.

You should watch out for your divisions bottom dwellers. The lowly Royals had a huge impact on the AL Central, a better division, at the very end of last year. So Tampa Bay or Toronto could sweep a series late in the saeson, knock the O's out of first (assuming they are in 1st at the time), and completely screw them out of the playoffs because the wild card will be coming out of the Central division.

the o's have no chance... not real power except tejada and sometimes mora. roberts is a fluke and hernadez is average at best. benson is off and on too much and cabrera is still not mature enough to handle the ace postition. i give them third but they might drop to fourth

As an O's fan, I think you need help. Even with they're improvements this year I can't possibly seeing them hitting third in the AL East, every year it is a very difficult division. The hardest in MLB. It will be the usual:

1.NY
2.BOS
3.TOR
4.BAL
5.TB

I thought I was the only one whistling in the wind. We can both believe, can't we? I remember the days when we were the greatest! I, like you, am hoping to see those days again.I'm going to get blasted out of this site, but I think the Yankees are venerable. Their backbone is getting old.

The Yankees, Jays and Red Sox are all better than the Orioles.
Not sure about the Devil Rays yet.
