i'm good in a bad way in that i do the right thing (i'll lean down and help somone off the ground) for the wrong reasons (so that that cute guy over there will notice my ***), or i can be bad (steal someone's wallet) in a good way (so that i can see their id card... i'm sure they are the long-lost niece of someone i know... i'd like to reunite them).
me, personally? i'm good (pick up something off the ground) in a clueless way (so i can make a sparkly pair of earrings)

If you are good in a bad way you are doing something morally justified but percieved as immoral or unjust. If you are bad in a good way, your wrongdoing is an act of immorality/unjust under standard opinion but it is percieved as a justly act without dire consequence.
I must say I'm bad in a good way....
