I think Boston is a good strong name and all of these people who say he will get teased later should know that he will get teased (as does everyone else) about his name/ size/ hair color/ hair cut/ teeth/ etc....no matter what you do. Raise your child to understand this and not have such lack of confidence that someone can break him by teasing him about his name.

There is a boy in my sons' school that has the name Boston and I've always thought it was rather unusual, not bad just different.

It's different, but in a good way. I'm one of the worst for making fun of silly names, and I wouldn't make fun of this one, so you're probably safe. Especially if Boston has a special meaning to you.

At the end of the day, what matters most is what you and your partner think.
Best of luck to you and your baby!

It's different. Not my first choice, but I'm sure he wouldn't be in class with 15 other Bostons...like Michael, Jacob, and Andrew :)

Thats a nice name I really like it. Its different and unusal but it sounds good, unless you live near the actual city...then you might run into some issues...

It's okay...Bo is a cute nickname for him. If there is sentimental reasons why you are naming him Boston it is much cuter, imo.
