5 weeks is early for an ultrasound. Sometimes you do not even know you are pregnant until 6 weeks. I would get another ultrasound at about 7-8 weeks. About that person that said your baby is a blob- she is wrong- it is so small it cannot be seen yet, but you know something your baby's heart has already been beating for a couple weeks, did you know that? I will pray that you do not have a ectopic pregnancy.

nicely first of all, the load estimates that they provide you with throughout ultrasounds are fairly erroneous. I had a chum who had an ultrasound at 39 weeks and become informed that her daughter weighed 7 pounds 6 oz. She went into not uncomplicated artwork the very next day and added a 9 pound infant!! So do not examine too a lot into the certain weight that they gave you. in case your infant is on the point of 6 pounds at 37 weeks, then you're fairly no longer too a lengthy way off purpose, somewhat in case your first toddler become also small. purely pass for the pressure assessments and want for wide-spread consequences... it sounds regular to me!

not too sure if this will go to the calendar, but this is what your baby looks like at 5 weeks, it's more of a blob than a baby right now. but I had my frist ultrasound done at 6 weeks, so it's normal.

I have never known anyone to get an ultra sound at 5 weeks. The soonest Dr.'s usually see you is 10 weeks sometimes 8.

...UM, if it is an ectopic, you are in DANGER!
Youir tube could burst-get a 2nd opinion...
Depending on the quality/modernness of the imaging machine, it can be seen. If it is an old machine it will be difficult.
