There are aftermarket cartridges available from Office Depot , Office Max, Walgreen, Walmart and a lot of others that work fine and cost about 1/2 what the standard Lexmark cartridges cost. Another thing you can watch for is the situation like the one I had where I had a Lexmark printer and my neighbor had a Xerox printer and they both used the same cartridges. Suggest you shop on the internet to compare prices?

You should check out some websites like 4inkjets.com, 123inkjets.com, and ink4ever.com. These are all reputable websites (especially the first two cause I've ordered from them) where you can get excellent deals on toner and ink for tons of printers. You should be able to buy compatible ink cartridges that are very cheap only because they are made by another company but don't be worried because from my experience with them, their products always meet or exceed the quality of the manufacturer-made ink. Hope this helps and good luck. If you want, e-mail me and I may be able to give you coupon codes for 123inkjets.com or 4inkjets.com.

you fairly can not the problem with LexMark ( and it is the reason I GAVE away that printer) they have a coverage no longer to enable the cartridges be refilled and resold. when we tried to fill up our personal they not in any respect paintings actual again and then we lost the ink that we put in them. We switched over to a cannon. The Ink is more low priced and also you'll fill up them.

Thats just a handy idea, search for "Continuous Ink Supply Systems", list the printers that you come up with, then get CISS +Printer, and start saving so much...forty pence a cartridge.

unfortunately the words lexmark and cheap don't go together. their cartridges are way over priced. the cost of printers has come down so much you may find it better buying a canon or epson printer. the cart's are so much cheaper.

tons of Internet sites - try bizrate.com - they give recommendations based upon customer's ratings. They don't always work as well as the original though.

Try www.clickinks.com, but it might void your warranty or break your printer, leak ink, etc. I still buy the genuine ones.
