Rollercoaster tycoon 3 help?

i need help on how to wok the attractions like the volcano and stuff.

What happens is you buy a roller coaster. Then you place the volcano by the roller coaster and you see a blue track. Place it there.Then when the rollercoaster car gets to that spot the volcano erupts.
